Benefits
- Supplements lambs, kids and calves that do not have adequate access to quality colostrum. Whether they were orphaned, multiple birth (not enough colostrum), or born to young dams (younger females often produce less colostrum than more mature females).
- Nursemate® is pasteurized and specially processed to preserve the nutrients that are so vital to newborn animals.
- Rich in energy, protein, vitamins and minerals.
- Contains maternal antibodies that help protect the newborn from disease pathogens during the early part of its life.
- Increases the amount of IgG fed when no other source of colostrum is available.
- Colostrum is the first source of Vitamin E in lambs and kids.
- Boosts Vitamin A levels.

Have used this product for the last 4-ish years. Have really liked it. Lambs drink it right up! However, our last two batches (one order in January and one last week in February) have had an issue. The colostrum sticks to the container and the scoop. It’s almost like it has moisture or some other issue. Very weird. Hard to scoop and impossible to empty a container. If it’s a quality control issue, please correct. If the ingredients changed, please change back.

Just mixed this up for the first time, Alissa S’s review is spot on. I used hot water (120°F), mixed with blender and it came out with zero clumps. I wasted 1 spoonful of the mix in my first attempt when I used cooler water and tried hand-mixing.

We have used a lot of different powdered colostrum mixes and think this is the best of the bunch. Lambs really like it, and the mixing directions make sense. Use a blender and really hot water, then let it cool to 110° or whatever your desired temp is.

Very hard to mix. Stays clumpy and plugged all the nipples. Not one lamb liked it. I had several get diarrhea from it.
