PigletNet™ Plus 11/30/3 Electric Netting
A prefabricated, portable electric fence best used with sows and piglets in moist areas (green grass). For dry areas use HogNet® 10/24/12. Tight spacings effectively contain small piglets. 30" height deters ground-based predators.
Pigs are very susceptible to electric fence. Their weight and narrow hooves anchor them firmly in the soil, making excellent ground contact.
Arrives to your door as a preassembled fence. One roll (100 ft) weighs only 13.5 lbs. Features 11 horizontal strands (10 conductive) and has string verticals every 3". Built-in line posts are spaced every 6.8 ft.

Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.
Listed below are recommended optional components. Your particular situation may require alternative recommendations. Please call and talk to our fence consultants if there are any questions at 800-282-6631.

Another great product from Premier 1. Highly recommended, does what it says. Lightweight, easy to use, raising hogs in Silva pasture pine, cedar forest.

This fence is an amazing improvement over other pig fence options. The smaller mesh is much more visible to the animals, deterring both young and old animals. The reduced space between posts is also an incredible improvement, and helps the fence stand up to some rooting of soil much better. All that and it is still much lighter than poultry fences. This should be the standard pig fence for anyone raising pastured hogs.

Easy to assemble and little or big piggies are not going through.

The fence works very well in terms of conducting a good joult and is a perfect height for keeping pigs in and other curious critters out. It is also at a comfortable height for me to step over into the pen without worrying about turn the fence off. The pigs generally respect it even when it is off simply due to the nature of the beast, but definetly keep it on whenever possible. The fence does however, in my opion, require some support style posts that should go along the halfway between some posts as they are not strong enough to do all the work and sag some. If the bottom, Black, wire is kept tight to the ground our pigs dont go anywhere. Don't get me wrong I am a repeat buyer and will continue to buy from Premier in the future.
