Quick Clean Bucket Waterer, 5 gallon
- Capacity: 5 gal
- Approx. size: 18"H, 13" pan diameter, 2" pan depth. 5" legs
- Suited for: adults
- Number of birds: 60
- Waterfowl: yes
- Can it hang: no
- Legs, sold separately
Note: The exact number of birds to water is difficult to determine as there are many factors that influence intake; salt and protein levels in the diet, humidity, temperature, productivity (growth or egg production) and the birds ability to process feed and water.
How to Use
- Remove lid
- Add water
- Refill with hose or bucket
- Use optional legs or set the waterer on blocks
Note: It weighs 40 lbs when full, which is too heavy for most to carry. It must be placed on a level site and make sure the valve system is clean.
Cleaning: We suggest periodically dismantling and cleaning the unit to prevent hard water and algae build up from obstructing the float system.

This waterer does not work for me. I have tried taking it apart and putting it back together several times and have made sure it is perfectly level but it always leaks no matter what. I have been happy with every other product from Premier 1, but this one is a waste of money unfortunately. :(

Way better than any other waterers we've tried. Adding the legs really helps to keep it clean. We use it outside and have no issues with it blowing away.

3 strikes and you’re out, please disregard my previous review…
I switched to this type of waterer because it was so easy to fill and clean. I have purchased a total of approx 9 of these from Premier. I purchased just a few and tried them for a few weeks, we really liked them. Unfortunately, this was not enough time to find the flaws.
Within 3 months the floats were sticking and overflowing and would leak out all water within a few hours. Premier did reluctantly send out 2 replacement floats and advised how to fix floats when they would go bad again. I’m sorry, I don’t need ‘another’ anything that requires monthly maintenance.
Another flaw is the handle. This handle can’t be used when the waterer is full, it will break. The handle is for carrying an empty or near empty waterer only.
The next issue is the waterer must be completely level or it will leak its contents. You will probably need a cement pad and a level to achieve this feat!
All waterers are out of use and in the corner of my storage shed. They get 2 stars because when they did work they were great.
Personally, I would like a refund but apparently, it’s too late.

Great product! I've had this bucket waterer for a couple of weeks now, and so far so good. The design is much easier to deal with than the fill-with-water-then-flip-it-over type waterer.

I’m on the fence about this waterer… it doesn’t hold water the best and is always empty. Not sure if we are doing something wrong but we have two other waterers that hold 3 gallons each and they always have water in them and we had these before purchasing this waterer. Going to have to do further research to see if we are doing something wrong.
