Quick Clean Bucket Waterer, 5 gallon
- Capacity: 5 gal
- Approx. size: 18"H, 13" pan diameter, 2" pan depth. 5" legs
- Suited for: adults
- Number of birds: 60
- Waterfowl: yes
- Can it hang: no
- Legs, sold separately
Note: The exact number of birds to water is difficult to determine as there are many factors that influence intake; salt and protein levels in the diet, humidity, temperature, productivity (growth or egg production) and the birds ability to process feed and water.
How to Use
- Remove lid
- Add water
- Refill with hose or bucket
- Use optional legs or set the waterer on blocks
Note: It weighs 40 lbs when full, which is too heavy for most to carry. It must be placed on a level site and make sure the valve system is clean.
Cleaning: We suggest periodically dismantling and cleaning the unit to prevent hard water and algae build up from obstructing the float system.

I have had a waterer like this for a couple of years but it didn’t have legs. I ordered two of these with the legs and I love them! I don’t know why others have so many problems with them. I never have and I’m using 4 of them at the moment. And they are super easy to clean.

Love this waterer! It is so much easier to fill and stays cleaner with the legs than my previous one. I will never go back to a twist top.

Purchased this 5 gallon waterer for our poultry and waterfowl. It had no instructions upon arrival, which wasn’t a huge deal for us but for some newbies, it could pose a problem. After having assembled and placed our new waterer, we filled it up and about 4 hours later or so, it was completely empty. The idea is great, but the implementation of the idea is not the best. We have purchased now at least 3 different types of waterers from Premier 1 and this one is by far the least liked for the fact of how quickly the water drains over the side. It is at least thankfully, easy to fill, but this also allows the wind to blow the lid off upon occasion. This was also the cheapest 5 gallon waterer by far, apparently for a reason!
★★★★★ Update — Thanks to a phone call from Gordon at Premier 1 after reading my review of this waterer, he was able to get us squared away and NOW we LOVE it! Just wanted to give a BIG shout out and really say THANKS! You guys were great and got us up and running, as our duck population is multiplying by the dozens and this waterer works like a CHAMP now! We would HIGHLY recommend it AND Premier 1!

We have 2 of these, they do a great job keeping our freedom rangers supplied with water throughout the day.

Had to call Premier for advice as it kept leaking. After taking it apart several times it now works fine. Love filling from top. The handle was hard to snap on; it’s a bit too tight. Overall I would buy this waterer again.
