RaccoonNet® 4/18/12 Kit
This semi-permanent netting kit is best for stopping raccoons and other similarly sized pests from getting into sweet corn patches, gardens, corn cribs and wrapped silage. 18" tall.
You will need a fence energizer (see accessories tab) to electrify the net.
Netting kit includes:
Netting kit includes:
- 100 ft roll of 18" RaccoonNet single spike electric netting.
- 4 18" FiberTuff™ support posts.
RaccoonNet 4/18/12 is a 18" electrifiable prefabricated fence. It arrives at your door as a complete roll with the single spike posts already built into the mesh/fence. Features 4 horizontals strands (3 conductive) with vertical struts placed every 12".
FiberTuff™ Posts provide additional support around curves, corners and other major directional changes. Use at end posts to help maintain tension on the fence.
Just push the posts in by hand. The built-in posts are usually strong enough for ends or corners--if you move the posts within the fence.
Remember...netting must always be properly electrified!
Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. Warning! Do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting due to risk of fire. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier's website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing.
Dry or frozen ground many cause the NetPost spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed.
Listed below are recommended optional components. Your particular situation may require alternative recommendations. Please call and talk to our fence consultants if there are any questions at 800-282-6631.

Thanks for the 100' of raccoon electric fence! It did a great job of keeping the raccoons out of our corn patch this year. Last year, they got all of our corn. This year, they got none of it thanks to Premier’s electric fence. It was a big investment, but it was worth it. Thanks again!

So far so good, no raccoons in my sweet corn. It was pretty easy to erect, as long as you don't let it get tangled. I did buy 4 more posts, since it needed support between the ones on it and the 4 extra I received in the kit. I tested the voltage and is good. (Already had a solar energizer.)

Very easy to rig up and effective at keeping racoons away from my grapevines.

We ordered 2 of these fences to fence our sweet corn patch. Easy installation. However, one of them was defective and we are in the process of getting it returned. The other served its purpose very well.

Well built, good quality components. The installation was easy and it even looks good in the yard. We have yet to see if it actually keeps out the animals as the fruit is not yet ripe enough to attract the racoons.
