Tying knots in twine or rope ends up in arcing, which eventually burns up the little wires so the fence isn't hot. These are SO easy to use, they don't wear out and they're big enough that you shouldn't lose them if you drop them in the dirt! What could be better than that?

Been using this for horse fencing on 11 acres for four years. Working fine so far. Not advertised to be for permanent fencing, but I use it as such.

This is the best connector for electric rope fencing since sliced bread! I've used several types of connectors, but the spiral connector is the best! It can be used without any tools and for a person with less than average upper body strength it is easily workable. I recommend the rope link connector to all my friends.

these really work great.

These are so sick to use. Our poly rope slid a little so we took a third "loop" and it drew tight! So love this simple little product! Someone had a pretty cool idea!
