The large size of this feeder works well for my adult birds. I keep it raised to their back level. The curled edge keeps all the feed INSIDE, even as they try to peck through, saving me money and limiting waste. I love it so much, I have 3 of them and may consider trying the smaller size as well.

Love this feeder. Works great for quail. The feed waste is reduced to near zero. This feeder is exactly what I was looking for.

Best feeder I have ever used! Over the years I’ve had five of these feeders and they stand the test of time, only one is broken after many a cold northern winter, that was one of my original three and two are still with me now. That’s why I ordered two more. Now living in the South, they should hold up even better. Premier not only has the best products, but also the best prices. I have shopped around and no one has products of the same high quality, nor good prices and delivery is fast.

My favorite feeders. I’ve used them for seven years now. I’ve bought many many feeders, but I keep coming back to these.
The big feeder works great and is tough. Just wish the top didn’t come off so easily.
The smaller feeders are also awesome... with an adjustment. As many have pointed out, sometimes the food needs to be shaken down because the outlet area is a bit short. Quick fix? Dremel with cutting blade. Take off the bottom and turn feeder upsidedown. Cut 1/4 inch off the bottom of the circular part of the feeder (the bottom of the biggest piece — the one with the grate to keep them from scratching.) Put two pieces back together and voila. Now the food has a bigger space and comes out easily.
The only other thing that keeps this from getting a five-star review — the tabs on the lid of the small feeder can break off more easily than I would like. I would like to be able to buy replacement lids because of this issue.
But quite honestly none of these issues are a deal breaker for me. I need feeders that can hang, are fairly tough, allow many chickens or chicks to eat at the same time, keep them from making a mess, and are easy to clean. Over time I have ended up giving or throwing away pretty much every other feeder type. I think I own five of the large Saturns and probably about 25 of a small ones.

Holds a good amount of feed. Seems to work well with pellets as well as crumble. Seems pretty sturdy.
