Have used these 15 lbs Saturn feeders for several years and they are the only type that reduce crumble spillage. I currently have 7 and use them in all of my grow-out pens for chickens, bantams, turkeys, guineas, peafowl, and pheasant. I place 4"x4" blocks next to the hanging feeder so smaller birds can reach the feed. I would not recommend them for waterfowl. I wouldn't use anything else for juvenile birds. (For adults, I use 50 lbs feeders made from plywood.)

I have a total of five of the Saturn 15 lbs. feeders. I use 2 feeders for my 50 meat bird chicks and 3 feeders for my 48 full grown hens. Minimal crumble waste if any. Of the 4 different styles of feeders I've tried, this one is the best.

I am replacing all of my young bird feeders with the Saturn 15 lb. I have tried many styles, and this works best for juvenile poultry. Less waste, compact design, easy access to eat ( but not to poop in), easy to clean and disinfect.

This is my third Saturn 15 and I've had the other two for about three years. Durability and ease of use for my mixed flock of chickens and ducks is great. I highly recommend this feeder

NOT FOR ADULT CHICKENS OR YOUNG FOWL. This rating is not reflective of the Saturn 3 feeder but rather of the feeder claims. Both the write up and pdf comparison chart indicate that this feeder can feed between 12-20 chickens (including adults). I was skeptical when I saw that the feeder height was 7" but ordered anyway. Turns out my suspicion was correct as both feeder capacity and individual feeder slots are way too small especially for my young geese. Furthermore, the sticker that comes on the feeder itself (which should be shown as an image in the advertising) does not even show that it is intended for adult chickens or geese but rather much smaller birds (would include a pic of my own but this review field does not allow for that). NONETHELESS, I called Premier 1 sales/customer service and Gordon was AMAZING! He understood my concern and took care of the exchange like a champ (upgraded to Saturn 5), 15lb. I would give customer service 5 starts if they had a separate customer service rating area. I see Jeremiah's review about the food not filtering down but figured I'll give it a try nonetheless and will keep you posted.
