Silo Free-Range Poultry Feeder
Discontinued — Free-standing poultry feeder for the whole flock (and then some!) with its 65 lb capacity. Combines our favorite features:
- Translucent hopper makes it easy to see the amount of feed remaining
- Easy open top for refilling
- Suitable for corn, crumble, and pellets
- 3-piece grill is easy to remove for cleaning, or when feeding large-combed birds and/or waterfowl
- Elevated base (6") reduces dirt and debris from being scratched into the feeder
- UV treated; BPA free plastic
Issues we’ve experienced on our farms, or that have been reported to us:
- Lid hinge breaks too easily
- Plastic hopper/tank is not durable enough for everyday use OUTSIDE the coop

Awful product, lid blows right off. Made of cheap plastic, so it breaks. Waste of money. Mine went into the trash.

The only good thing I can say about this feeder is it holds a lot of feed. The base is too narrow to keep a good footing on anything other than flat terrain. It’s made of lightweight plastic and the lid won’t stay on tight, even in a light wind. Water gathers in the bottom because it isn’t protected from rain or snow. I wouldn’t recommend this item at all. Do your research before buying. I thought I did.

These will hold a 50lb bag of feed, which is a super timesaver. I use with chickens and ducks and there is no wasted food. Highly recommend these Silo feeders!
