Great for extra support on corners/curves/end support posts for taller nets (PermaNet, Deer QuikFence and VersaNet). For this purpose they don’t need a clip.

Can also be used with our 11/16" PowerGrip Clips to hold twine, rope and narrow tape.

Surprisingly popular for use as catfish bank poles.

Don’t forget the drive caps! Prevent hammer damage to tops of posts by placing a protective drive cap on top of the post during installation. We recommend approx. one cap for every 20 posts ordered. (One cap will lasts through years of use and many posts.)

SmoothCote™ FiberRods are now available with pre-drilled holes for a faster, more flexible fencing installation.

Installation

Attach a Drive Cap (sold separately) and pound the pointed end into ground with a hammer or post driver. If not using a drive cap, use a rubber mallet to avoid splintering or damaging the top of the post.

Use a 11/16" PowerGrip Clip with the post to hold twine, rope and narrow tape.

When we need an extra end or corner post for electric netting, we reach for these FiberRod posts. They’re thick, heavy-duty, and easily handle the tension from the net without hand splinters—unlike the fiberglass poles you’d find at most farm stores. We’ve used a T-post pounder to drive them into the ground, but be aware that this can wear down the top of the post over time. Using a drive cap helps prevent damage to the top. These posts can handle most of the work you’d expect from a T-post, but without the risk of grounding out your fence.

Would like to see slotted top caps for the 11/16ths posts. With gophers and soft soil would like to use some as part of deer fence posts as the deer fence posts are inclined to tip over in winter.

I wanted to purchase the caps with the thread through for these posts, but the person said they didn’t make them for this post. Then I realized some came (not enough) with the original kit. The woman didn’t know the products you have so I have to use zip ties. I would still like to order some but, since they would be very lightweight, I would not pay any shipping charges.
