Sprayline
The easiest and most accurate sheep spray marker that we have ever used or tested.
Common Uses:
- Matching lambs and mothers
- Identifying fat, thin, diseased or cull animals in pens and chutes
- Spot-marking sheep that have just been vaccinated or drenched
Shipping
Benefits
- It provides more minutes of "spray time" per can than any other sheep aerosol
- It's a controlled spray so letters and numbers are easily made
- Marks last 3-7 weeks
How many numbers will a can produce? In our tests, a red 400 mL can produced approximately 450 numbers (2" to 3" in height) on a porous surface (burlap).
Specs
- 200mL or 400mL cans
- Six color options
- Can label may vary
Tips
- Smaller numbers are more readable for a longer time
- Sprayline will last longer if used with a full fleece
- Animals with that are haired rather than wooled will "wear" Sprayline for a shorter period of time
Precautions
Accepted as scourable in the UK but not in the USA. (No, we cannot account for this.)

A bit pricey for the size of the can, but it sprayed reliably and the color was very visible. We got through worming 70 lambs in good time with an 11-year-old marking them. No problems.

I really like using these spray markers. It’s easier to mark moving animals, especially the lambs. The marks remain pretty long as well. Just so much easier than stick markers!

Love this stuff. I mark my sheep and lambs and it stays on a long time even with the weather. Also works great on wrapped round bales to mark.

Works well we have used a variety of colors for a couple years, seems to stay visible for about 4–6 weeks when on a pasture environment, even longer in confinement. We now only use on the head/neck because it does stain wool even as it grows out and that stain does not scour (product doesn’t claim that it does) but it does not change the texture of the wool like marking crayons or marking harness crayons do. (No waxy film.) Overall I feel that if you must mark this is the best way to do it.

The outer cap is so hard to get off I broke the button where the spray comes out rendering the whole can useless.
