How to Use
- Insert conductor through guard at the front of the reel.
- Loop conductor in a figure 8 pattern between the parallel metal wires that run across the spool (this promotes metal to metal contact between the reel and the conductor).
- Place the spool of conductor in a 5 gallon bucket or similar container.
- Begin winding until desired amount of conductor is on the reel.
- Tuck loose conductor into spooled conductor (on reel) to hold in place
- Jump power to/from the reel via connecting a Powerlink to the metal loop on the handle side of the reel.

I own three brands of geared reels and these are my favorite. The hooks grip high tensile wire and won’t let the reel slide. Most of my paddocks are irregular shaped and this comes in very handy. Also, the handle is a little longer on this one and is far more comfortable.

Solid reel. I regret wasting money on the Gallagher geared reel. Will be using these from now on.

The Premier EzeReels are much better. The lack of a neck strap is a negative. The gearing was not as beneficial as I figured. More importantly though, the twine will not stay on the reel whatsoever and is a constant frustration. I was well under the “field capacity” listing and even at a half spool it would throw loops and was constantly tangling on the bolts and latches on the outside of the spool.

Recieved as promised. It’s a Christmas gift, so won’t be opened till x-mas and won’t be tried until spring. I’ve used similar geared reels in past and found those fully functional.

I have 3 of these reels that I’ve been using for the last 2 years and no complaints.
