Goldfoot Springsteel Pigtail Posts
Galvanized springsteel post from Strainrite® Fencing Systems. Thick plastic insulation resists UV exposure. Jumps back into position if a person or animal bends the post over. The 40.5" post offers added height to contain goats, or jumpy cattle and sheep.
Holds one conductor. If additional conductors are needed, clip-on insulators may be added.

Goldfoot Springsteel Pigtail Post, 40.5" is an excellent replacement for my previous step-in plastic posts. It is sturdier, more stable. presents less wind resistance, and high enough (though not quite as high as plastic posts) to deter deer. If you have a balance problem or hard ground, you can carefully use a hammer on the right-angle second spike. The snap-on clips are easy to use and allow endless height variations. Great product!

These electric fence stakes are strong and taller than stakes that I have purchased from another source. They are convenient and easily set up for a temporary or permanent fence. I zip-tied many of these to the fence post of a permanent fence and strung wire to keep smart horses from reaching over the fence. I don’t have fire running through it. They never test it any more.

I used it to place a solar fence charger...worked perfect. Now I can move it around anywhere quickly. Ordering and shipment could not have gone any better. Great company. Will use again.

I spend roughly an hour per day moving polywire for our 600 head. I have been doing it for many years. I think these are the best posts made and I have tried many different ones. Years ago Gallagher sold a lighter version of these and I liked them very much. Now they are heavier and even better and for an excellent price. Basically these are a little nicer than the Gallagher heavy duty and a lot cheaper. I just bought 400 this spring. In my opinion the non-springsteel posts sold at Premeir 1 are the worst post you can buy and these are the best.

So far so good...only had about 2 weeks now, but they seem sturdy and well made.
