How to use
Install reservoir so it is higher than the waterer. This allows for proper water flow.
Tips
- To raise water level: Loosen the lock ring on the flow control shaft, thread the control ring into the shaft. Tighten lock ring.
- To lower water level: Loosen the lock ring on the flow control shaft, thread the control ring out of the shaft. Tighten lock ring.
- Loosen the control ring until shaft is entirely removed from the housing.
- Loosen the white ring at the base of the shaft. Pull out filter.
- Pull off the press fit filter. Spray with compressed air, shake in water or hose off the filter to clean of debris.
- Reassemble in reverse order.
- Check o-ring beneath filter to make sure there is no debris present that may block the seal.
Precautions
Use correctly sized hoses for best performance. Too small of hoses may be difficult to remove from waterer, causing stress on plastic inlets.
This is a gravity flow system, the reservoir and hose must be higher than the suspended waterer for proper flow. If the waterer does not fill, raise the reservoir.
If water continuously flows from the valve, no matter setting, remove the valve from the valve body. Activate the plunger at the base of the valve by pressing up and down several times. If water continues to flow from the valve when plunger is released, soak overnight in a bucket of water and retest. IF dripping continues, call us at 1-800-282-6631.

Had an issue with it leaking water. Turned out one of the screws wasn’t tightened properly. I had to take it all apart to figure out which one. After that it’s been working great.

Great product, but I think the tubing should be included with the waterer. You definitely don’t need 50ft. At best, 6-ft of tubing. I gave 4 stars because I had to order the tubing separately.

The drinker is well built. It was easy to assemble with a simple wingnut. It does not come with the hose and for an additional $52 you can purchase 82' of it for the waterer. It would be great if lesser quantities of the hose were available for purchase, or if some were included with the waterer. It would also be well worth it if a shut off valve was offered for sale to purchase along with the other accessories. I find it useful to be able to turn the water off at the bucket side when moving the chicken tractors. I have tried a few different brands of waterers and this is a great waterer being a little narrower and taking up less room in the chicken tractor.

This thing is the Cadillac of poultry waterers. Make sure to order the tubing and tank nipple too. I had to go find one at the local hardware which wasn’t that easy.

I purchased a couple of these drinkers to test them out in my setup for a couple months. After a little tuning, they work perfectly, and I absolutely love them. These drinkers will be the only watering system in my chicken tractors. I just purchased 10 more and look forward to getting another 25 or so in the coming weeks.
Premier’s customer service has also been amazing and very prompt at addressing my questions.
