This makes a great walking stick and looks marvelous. We find it works good for smaller breeds of sheep or lambs. Dorset or larger is probably too big.

Crook is much too small for any sheep I have....especially if they have not been sheared. Might work with lambs or dogs. Opening is about 3" wide. Pretty wood though.

Love this shepherd's crook. Sturdy, light weight and natural product. Works well.
I would gladly give this as a gift to newbies in the sheep working world. I think I won't have to replace mine unless it magically turns up missing one day.

Easy transaction received in good order

The neck of the crook is way too narrow and fails its primary purpose, otherwise it is a great product.
