This is a very lightweight wooden crook. In fact it is so light that I was concerned with its strength. But after using it every day I can say that it is very strong and works very well. Overall a very high quality crook.

There is just something nostalgic about using a traditional crook. Lightweight & strong, sized perfectly. I have broken one when I've jammed it in a fence to stop a charging ewe, I replaced it with another chestnut crook.

High quality wood. This was a replacement for a previous purchase that broke after over two years of use in training my dog to work sheep. I feel that a crook is better than the fiberglass stock sticks that many use.

This crook showed alot of quality in the craftmanship as well as being very useful in sorting the sheep.
