Nice fit and finish but crook was too small to fit around my dwarf billy’s neck. He is a yearling.

I love it! Very well made and shipped immediately.

Crook is too small for sheep over 100lbs. 3rd crook style I've ordered from Premier, yet to find one that works. I'm stuck buying the Jeffers ones that straighten out after a couple months. If it could catch a normal sized ewe the strength and balance for this would be perfect.

We loved this product when we picked it up last year to assist dealing with our new flock of sheep. We were disappointed the curve at the end of the crook flattened out over winter. Possibly we got a defective one? I would not recommend this for humid climates or areas that receive lots of rain.

This crook saw heavy use everyday for almost 4 years before it finally broke. It would have made it much longer without abuse. It finally gave in after it was used to pry frozen hay in subzero temps. That's not its intended function and completely my fault. It handled 250lb rams and small lambs alike without fail. Beautiful, lightweight, and very functional. When it broke it was like losing an old friend.
