Swiss Bell
Traditional, Swiss-style, solid brass bell.
Hand cast in the pattern of the famous 1878 Saignélegier Chiantel Fondeur design, bells have been used for centuries to track and herd sheep, goats and cattle in the timber, brush, large pastures or open range.
Produces a bright sound that’s pleasant to the ear. (Most ears!)

Love the bell’s sound!!! BUT the clapper needs much improvement. I purchased in November and by March started loosing clappers. Premier 1 replaced the bells for free but the clapper needs to be improved.
I run 20 bells on my flock (95 head).
I do love the sound of this bell! I have grassy fields, not rough things for the bells to catch on.
Just know the clapper does not last!

Personally, I love the sound of this thing. It is bright, loud, and easy to identify/find. The wife and daughter, however, found it to be too loud, so it came back off. That said, it is well crafted, does what it is designed to do — just does it a little too well for our smaller property. I still love it...

Beautiful bell, beautiful sound.

This bell is beautiful and the perfect size for medium to small ewes. We have the ram bell on our big Suffolk. The two bells harmonize perfectly. For anyone grazing sheep this Swiss bell has just the prettiest ring!
