We tried using a steel rebar rod for a grounding rod with our Premier 1 goat fencing and the charge the fence was getting was rather low and spotty. Not to mention the rod was hard to get out of the ground when we wanted to move it. We purchased this and it worked really well. We aren’t losing any voltage anywhere along the fence and it’s hitting pretty hard. Plus it’s super easy to get out of the ground since it has a handle.

A much better ground than the old galvanized pipes we used before. Our ground is seriously rocky. If we need to hammer them in, we put a wood block all the way across the top evenly, then hammer away. Still sometimes need to chain to the post puller to get them out. 'T' makes a good hold.

These grounding rods are superior to the straight rods. Handles make removing the rods easy without the use of a jack or a tractor.

Makes portability of the electric fencing really nice.

Makes driving and pulling the rod a breeze!
