Tri-Pod Waterer, 8 gal
Large-volume waterer for those who tire of frequently refilling small waterers.
To keep the water clean, it has 3 legs that elevate the waterer off the ground or bedding.
Instructions/Diagrams:
Specs
- Capacity: 8 gallon
- Suited for: adults
- Height: 22"
- Number of birds: 100
- Waterfowl: yes
- Base sits 5.5" above the ground
Note: The exact number of birds to water is difficult to determine as there are many factors that influence intake; salt and protein levels in the diet, humidity, temperature, productivity (growth or egg production) and the birds ability to process feed and water.
How to Use
- Fill from top with a hose.
- Make sure valve is closed when filling.
- Once full, screw the cap back on and open the valve to enable the water to flow. Water will stop on its own due to vacuum seal.
- Water fill level is high so be sure to set it on flat ground to avoid spillage.

I absolutely love this chicken and duck waterer. The ducks cannot play in it and splash water all over. The 8 gallon container allows enough water for my entire flock to drink fresh water all day without refilling until night. I would recommend this waterer to everyone!

Just bought a second waterer. Used it for our layers last year, worked great overall. Ordered more pullets this year so went and grabbed a second. Highly recommend.

Easy to fill and operate. I’ve just started using the product, so far so good. Using it exclusively for my chickens. I’m going to give it a test in my duck run before purchasing a second. Want to see how the muddy silty water effects the filling.

I really like this waterer, very well built. We have two now! Excellent product.

Not sure why anyone would recommend. Even on a complete even surface which is hard to find anywhere: it leaks, overfills, stops filling up, hard to control by the knob on bottom, clogs easily and is hard to clean. I have to fill it almost everyday. Should have only bought one to test it.
