Just used it yesterday to clean, trim, and treat hoof rot on our Dorper sheep. I would not have it any other way; going from a halter and tying to a fence post to this is like night and day. You must purchase the ramp because my ewes are stubborn and lifting multiple 100#+ sheep would not be a fun day. This made the job actually somewhat enjoyable because there was no rushing or fighting/wrestling the sheep. Definitely recommend. Especially the Premier 1 very solid and sturdy unit, not lightweight tubing or plastic parts to break. There are some rough edges but that's to be expected on a dipped galvanizing process. A lot of money but well worth it. You will thank yourself in the long run, buy the ramp and rails also.

This is a very sturdy stand. It’s easily adjusted to accommodate varying sizes of goats/sheep. I did need to elevate the entire stand to make the head piece come down enough for my kids, but kids seldom need trim stand treatment (mine needed footpaths because of an early bout of hoof scald). I feel the side rails are important for safety if you have squirmy animals, or even just need to step away.

Product is well made and sturdy. Not cheap thin metal or plastic. Nice heavy gauge steel. The side rails are nice but if my goats start kicking around they can kick them off.
