Note: Lightweight varmints, such as squirrels and chipmunks do NOT make good foot-to-soil contact. As such, these critters won’t receive a memorable shock. Squirrels are especially cunning; they often jump onto the fence without making any ground contact. Without ground contact, an animal won’t be shocked. (This is why birds can perch on power lines without being electrocuted.)

Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I love this fence and it does the job it’s intended to do. It does take a little training for the pigs and was hard to watch but after a couple days they wont go anywhere near it. In fact I have to remember to shut it off before climbing over it or the ZAP will reach out and tell you it’s on.
Easy to set up and move if you do it like the instructions say. I do wish it had better spikes with foot pads to push in the ground but I just use spikes to pre-poke holes if it’s hard ground. I also wish it had tie strings on both ends but I just tie my own on. Great fence! Can’t wait to buy another set, hopefully the new shipments will come in.

I bought a pair of these short nets for my garden a month or two ago. We have had an increasing problem with rabbits and, we think, rats, eating our legumes and seedlings. So far, these have kept theae small rabbits from eating carrot, beet and pea seedlings. I may need a couple more to protect fall brassica seedlings.

Very happy with this purchase. I use for my chickens and although they can jump the fence if they wanted, they don't bother. I can easily step over when I need to. High quality.

Perfect solution. Just wanted a temporary day pan for my chickens and I didn’t want it so tall. This worked out perfectly. Very easy for one person to set up. Choose to wire it or not. It’s so much better than those cheap plastic things they sell at the big box store.

This netting was taller than I wanted but did not want to wait a month to get the 30 inch. It has worked out well for us. I just use the plastic step in post to push down on the netting to get over. We are using this for puppy training to electric. If your charger is putting out high voltage, this will let them know to respect the white. Easy to put in and out. A nice big area also.
