A great tool for catching sheep or goats in the pens (or even in the field if you're quick). Has good design and shape and rounded edges so that it won't cut legs.
I've used one for 20 yrs. or so, and needed replace it because I finally broke it smacking it against a wall to make some noise while driving sheep. Don't do that; it is really robust, but being cast aluminum, there is a limit.

Great for catching my goats.

Only used once but it worked and was eaiser.

The crook works very well. I had to file down a mop handle end so it would mount snuggly in to the crook. I read one review where the crook broke. It is only cast aluminum and it will probably break eventually if it is a larger animal that is struggling alot. That being said, it is relatively low cost compared to the other crooks and hooks. I would order a second one for backup.

Really prompt delivery. Crook works really well....it was missing the screw, but was simple enough to find one that worked.
