Tips
To reduce “bridging” and “rat-holing”, use a coarsely ground feed to maintain proper flow. Feeds with too many fines may bind up in humid climates.

I am raising some silkie chicks and found they are very wasteful with their feed. This feeder with the grill has made a huge difference in saving feed. It's very durable and easy to fill.

This feeder might be okay for a small flock if the feeder is under cover as the Ascot rain hat doesn't keep out a driving rain. The feed doesn't flow very well so the birds really have to work to eat. move up to the Handy feeder with it's large rain hat, it is worth the extra cost.
