Bucket Nipple Waterer
Use this 3 gallon poultry nipple waterer for watering all types of poultry (including waterfowl). It is fast becoming one of our favorites!
- Nipples prevent litter from fouling the water
- Recessed nipples (3) provide fresh water while keeping the reservoir clean

How to Use
It's common for a bead of water to hang off the nipple and occasionally drip. This is common with all types of poultry nipples. When testing this waterer, the drips were not bothersome to neither our birds nor us.

We love these watering buckets! Granted, we haven’t had a storm yet to see how well the lids stay in place, but the water is sanitary and we introduced it to 8 week old chicks who have taken to it just fine. They recommend showing your chick by guiding their beak to it. We just let them see the water coming out by touching it repeatedly with our finger. Guess it depends on how spooked your chicks are around you. One of the nipples on a new bucket does leak a bit, but it’s not so fast that we’re concerned. (Although we did go ahead and order replacement nipples with our original order just in case!)

The absolute best waterer for chickens! I have had chickens for 10 years and have had to clean their water out every day. This keeps the water clean and holds 3 gallons, which is 3 days worth for me. I got a second one so I can hang 2 when we go on vacation. Another huge benefit is that my chicken coop stays dry! No more damp, smelly and moldy litter to clean out! I just add more shavings as needed and build up a deep litter. Totally awesome to enjoy my chickens more with a lot less work!

Great waterer, the chickens figured out how to use it easily, it stays clean, and seems durable. The recessed nipples keep them safe when refilling. Great product!

I’ve had this waterer for YEARS … 5–7 probably, and it works as well today and the first day I got it. I love how you can set it on the ground to fill it and the recessed nipples are not damaged. Easy to fill, easy for the chickens to get the water, easy to clean, opaque so it never ever has gotten mildew or algae in it. Amazing. I ended up buying 3 total over the years for different pens/coops/brooders. Even works with chicks/teenagers/young pullets.
