Bucket Nipple Waterer
- Capacity: 3 gallon
- Includes 3 (pre-attached) nipples. Replacement nipples sold above.
- Size: 15"H, 12.5"D
- Suited for: adults
- Number of birds: 35
- Can it hang: yes (includes an adjustable cord)
- Waterfowl: yes
- Nipples prevent litter from fouling the water
- Nipples are recessed for easy refilling of the waterer
It's common for a bead of water to hang off the nipple and occasionally drip. This is common with all types of poultry nipples. When testing this waterer, the drips were not bothersome to neither our birds nor us.
Clean the drinker once a month with chlorine. This is important to keep the nipples clean. Make sure there is no chlorine left in the nipples after cleaning.

This chicken watering system is absolutely fantastic. No more tipped-over water bottles. No more poop and bedding in the water trough. No more thirst chickens! I bought this one for new chicks and raise it as they grow. I couldn't afford the heated version, but I will be buying that one in the Fall.

Absolutely wonderful. My four week old chicks took to it right away. It is the way to go. No messy water.

As a long time convert to using nipple waterers , I was glad to get this medium sized portable 3 gallon bucket. Very easy to use and not too big. Young chicks took to it right away. I use it in a portion of my coop partitioned off for the young ones, the adult chickens having a larger, non portable nipple watering system. I can see several potential uses for this handy waterer.

This bucket waterer works great! It doesn't leak and chicks don't get wet from running underneath (their backs don't touch the nipples). The water stays clean.
I recommend this especially with growing chicks.....NO more playfully dirty water to deal with! Healthier chicks!

This watering bucket works great. I would suggest one improvement, it needs a hook to tie the lid onto the handle so it doesn't get set on the ground when refilling.
