Bucket Teat Unit
Bucket teat units were first introduced to the USA by Premier over 30 years ago. They have been the "gold standard" design ever since.
Feed orphan lambs, goat kids and calves by attaching this unit to a square bucket. Teats sold separately. (See Accessories tab below.)
Use a bucket teat wrench to easily tighten or loosen the plastic gray "nut".
Additional washers (sold above) may also be needed when using thin-walled buckets.
Teats sold separately.
Why so low? When a young ruminent stretches out its neck to nurse, their esophagus elongates and forms a groove that carries the milk into the 4th stomach (the abomasum).
If the neck is not stretched, the milk falls into the first stomach instead of the 4th. But the first stomach is intended for grass and hay. It doesn’t digest milk well. A first stomach with too much milk enlarges to form a “potbelly”—and the lamb/kid can’t thrive.

Bucket feeding is so much more convient that bottle feeding. We begin our lambs at 2 days old on the bucket and these assemblies are super easy to use and clean.

The bucket teat unit works great. Easy to install. Does not leak and seems to be very sturdy. The lambs and goats love their new milk bucket!

I bought extra washers just because if I need it I will already have it. With hungry lambs depending on their bucket, a leaking worn washer would be a big problem. Cheap insurance to have some extras around.

I bought the entire bucket system for my goat babies. It was everything i hoped it would be . You might find parts that work as well and hold up as well , but I made one order and it all came to me , faster and at less cost than if I tried to build my own lamb bar . Finally , a product that I was not disappointed in . Thankyou Premier !

I like the design of these units. The lambs have no problem getting to the very last drop of milk in the bucket!
