These nipples make feeding with our bucket feeder so nice!

I use on Nigerian Dwarfs and they work great! I start with the Pritchard Teat nipple and transition them to this on a bucket feeder. We use the rubber washer on front and back of the bucket and have no leaks!

These new red rubber teats are terrible. They have all failed in the first 2 weeks of use with 3 orphan kids. This product used to be great. I purchased some in Feb. 2021 that lasted for 4 months with the same number of kids using them as 2022. The nipple opening on the old ones eventually got too large in 2022, the second year.
These new ones purchased in 2022 lasted a week, had large tears halfway up the nipple. The 3 we installed have all failed. I don’t even want to use the 4th one we purchased. Need to find a different solution until weaning.
It’s been our shepherd’s experience that it’s usually the latex teats that wear out first. It’s not uncommon that some of Premier orphan lambs have unusually sharp teeth (which may explain why their mothers rejected them), and so are able to rapidly damage artificial teats.

These nipples are great for our bucket system. They are tough and hold up pretty good. I say that because after the babies (goats) get older they tend to both suck and chew on the nipples which cause them to leak. No fault of the manufacture or Premier 1. Because they are a harder nipple the babies take a bit of time to take to them. We don't use the latex due to allergies in our home but I do wish that there was a slightly softer version for the newborn to 1 week old babies. I will buy again as needed though.

I was really excited to get my bottle goats on the bucket system to save us some time. I ordered these since they were supposed to last longer. While my goats took to them right away, the teats got destroyed in less than a day.
