Red Rubber Teats
How to Use
If the milk flow seems too slow, take a Pocket Scalpel (or other sharp knife) and enlarge the “X” slit in the end of the teat. Be careful! Do NOT cut the end too large or the milk will constantly leak out.
Cannot be used on soda pop bottles.
Do NOT leave empty bottles or bucket feeders in the orphan pen. Lambs and kids will chew on nipples (in an attempt to feed) and damage the teats. A habit that is not easily reversed.

We are feeding 60 lambs and they really got after these nipples. The longer ones found on bottles were a fight to use but our lambs took to the rubber nipples immediately. So far we haven't tore one but we have back-ups in case.

The nipples fit the adapter perfectly, and provided a perfect seal. Our lambs are about 2 months old so they have a good set of teeth, and the nipples last a good while unless the ewe gets a hold of them! Her powerful bite is a bit much for anything like rubber to withstand. So with care the nipples last a good while before being torn. The natural rubber nipples do not last as long. I am bucket feeding 3 orphan lambs, and this product is recommended for that purpose

I was thrilled when all the supplies arrived for my new bucket feeders as feeding 7 bottle kids at once is not an easy task. The nipples worked great for several days, unfortunately thats as long as they lasted, not super sure what happened but the ends of them are no longer any good. I just ordered some again to replace the 4/8 that are no longer of any use to me. So we will see how this goes, depending on the results, my ratings may change....

I am using these on a bucket system, from Premier, for my Nigerian Dwarfs. They are much easier to keep clean and do not leak like the pritchard nipples! Love these...they make life a little easier!

Only last about a day for us. The latex nipples have been in use for months and are still in good condition. Had thought perhaps it was a manufacturer defect, but after reading other reviews it sounds like a common problem. I’d recommend starting with latex and only changing to rubber if the latex aren’t working for you.
