I inserted the CIDRs into 16 ewes. One was a ewe lamb from this year, and another was a maiden ewe that would be 2 years old.
Another ewe was a Tunis, another was a B.F.L./Gotland/Shetland cross, another a Suffolk cross, and another an Icelandic. Two others are supposed to be Assaf ewes...
All but the lamb, maiden, and Assaf ewes have lambed out previously.
The rest of the flock are East Friesland dairy sheep.
The Assaff, Suffolk cross, and the experienced dairy ewes all were bred with in 2 days of removing the CIDRs. The Lamb, Maiden, Tunis, Icelandic, and one East Friesland (she had lambed out last year) are still not bred. The B.F.L. cross was bred about a week after insert removal.
All in all, I am happy with the cluster breeding I have. These last 6 sheep were also the ones to breed late last year. So I am wondering if I should use the hormone injection with them too.
Last year, my lambing of these ewes was spread over 5 months...

Love this product. I work in town and all my ewes were breed and lambed right when they were suppose to and shortened up my lambing season.
