I use it because Premier says to. At least 40 years ago, I burned out another brand machine as I learned to shear by using too little of the wrong oil. I am still just an amateur, but have learned to use plenty of oil, and sharp cutters. I always order a bottle when I send my stuff in to be sharpened. I use it for other stuff around the farm too. I like the squeeze bottles. It is not worth the savings to be to get the big bottle.
