Refrigerate unused colostrum replacer solution promptly after mixing. Reheat gently over warm water and mix thoroughly before feeding. Do not microwave or freeze the solution. Discard any unused refrigerated colostrum replacer solution after 8 hours.
Newborn lambs and goat kids should receive their first feeding of colostrum as soon after birth as possible by nipple bottle or esophageal tube.
- When Fed as a Replacer: Feed 7 fluid ounces of mixed solution per 4 lb of bodyweight. Split this mixed solution into 2-3 feedings over the first 8 hours of life.
- When Fed as a Supplement: Feed 3.5 fluid ounces of mixed solution per 4 lb of bodyweight. The mixed solution can be added to maternal colostrum if there is not enough quantity or if quality of the maternal colostrum is unknown as may be the case in multiple births. Lambs and Kids also benefit from feeding supplemental colostrum past day one.
Store unmixed replacer closed in a cool, dry location. Best if used within 24 months of date of manufacture. Shelf life may be extended by freezing the dry powder in an airtight container.

It is the best colostrum replacer in the market.

One of our ewes delivered outside on a cold afternoon, and we found her lamb severely hypothermic. Thankfully we had just purchased some Colostrum Replacement and administered one dose via feed tube. We kept the lamb in the house overnight and bottle fed her every few hours using the powdered formula. It was a life saver!

I asked for colostrum for my newborn calves. They recommended Land O Lakes Bovine. When I got it it didn’t say it was for calves. So I paid to have it returned to them and I thought they would give me a refund but I just got credit. I’m sure it’s a great product for lambs.

I will keep this on hand always. Have had issues with young ewes having no milk and/or rejecting their babies. Haven't lost a lamb since I switched to this colostrum product.

This product is worth every penny paid for it. We absolutely love it! We've used it to tube three of our lambs that were hopelessly weak and saw amazing results. More often, we use it as a jump start for the lambs that just can't find the energy to get to Mom right away. We've never had this kind of success with another colostrum supplement. Just do yourself a favor and keep two bags on hand during lambing season. Great product!
