Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.
Listed below are recommended optional components. Your particular situation may require alternative recommendations. Please call and talk to our fence consultants if there are any questions at 800-282-6631.

I’ve used Premier deer fencing for the past five years to keep the deer from destroying my flower and vegetable gardens in the spring, summer and fall. The deer that frequent my area have all learned that the fence is to be avoided and I do believe that they teach their fawns to avoid it.
My one complaint is that you no longer sell the 50 foot sections of this fencing.

Installed 200' of Anti-Deer fencing, and so far, so good! Put out the scent caps before anything was growing, and there has been no evidence of intrusion. It was a bit harder than the 20 minutes suggested to install, but next time it will be much easier. We'll see if it keeps them out once the crops come off the fields in the fall, as that is the real test. Love the solar charger!

I’m an avid gardener who had a big a big deer problem. I had groups of 6-10 deer visiting my garden on a daily basis and they love to eat my Hosta and Lilly plants. I use to live on a farm with 500 sheep and used Premiere’s portable fencing to graze them in paddocks. I have permanent tall fencing on three sides of my garden so I thought of using the same type of fencing for the 4th side. Premiere’s portable deer fencing has worked beautifully and so far I have not used the charger, the fence alone has been enough to deter them.

My husband recently planted 1200 grape vines and needed a barrier to keep out the wildlife in our area, such as deer, turkey, etc. So far, he is very pleased with the product, but need to wait to see how effective it will be.

We have a lot of deer in our area, and needed something to keep the deer out of our garden. The fence was easy to install and appears to be very durable. Although we don't have crops in yet, and the fence isn't energized presently, the spacing between strands (both vertical and horizontal) will entice deer into going under or through rather than over, which should do the trick once the fence is energized.
