Deluxe Marking Harness
Our Deluxe Marking Harness is a world-class breeding harness because:
- Wider (2"), blue nylon straps—distribute pressure more evenly over the ram's body. Also easier to find and adjust the straps when they're in deep wool.
- Unique padded (0.2" thick) white straps behind the front legs to prevent skin abrasion.
- Much larger snap buckles and metal loops—harness's connection and stress points are reinforced. Even gloved hands can manipulate the large snap buckles.
- Crayon holder is also padded.
- Uses Marking Crayons sold separately.

I am very pleased with the style of this marking harness. It's the first time it has stayed on without having to add extra straps. I have a ram that is a Leicester Longwool. He weighs around 180+ pounds and I can adjust it down to fit him. Highly recommended!

I am not sure how people say this is too big. We easily adjusted it down to a 6 month old buck and also use it on a very large mature buck. The buckles are much bigger and sturdier than the small ones on the leather harness.
Unfortunately it is very typical that the buckles are often assembled upside down. I have found this to be a chronic problem with all the Premier harnesses. I love this company but I’m tired of this quality control issue.

The harness is very sturdy, but the buck needs to be very patient to get it on properly. Also, the markers didn’t fit well. I don’t know that I will be able to change the marker without taking the harness off the buck. I wish I had gotten the leather harness.

Used the first time and the clasp broke. Maybe it was a faulty one, but equally frustrating when you are trying to get your rams all out at the same time with a marker. So we had to jimmy-rig it to hopefully stay on while doing their job.

Best on the market. I have tried marking harnesses from other websites, they don’t hold up and last like this one. I now have 3 of them (one for each stud), so I can leave the straps adjusted and color crayon for each ram. I like that the chest plate is large and padded, and the straps are wider than some other harnesses on the market. This is the only style I would recommend. They last for years.
