Product Details

A prefabricated fence that has 9 horizontal strands (8 conductive), is 35" tall installed and has large white plastic vertical struts every 12". White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5 ft.

The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs. Also used to protect beehives from livestock and bears.

Contrasting white/black color provides 24/7 visibility to both humans and animals against all backgrounds. Its very low electrical resistance (38 ohms per 1000') is important for fences that are either long or will experience high weed contact.

We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all ElectroNet options.

Electrified netting has been an essential tool on our farms since 1970. It’s difficult to imagine life without it. That others share this view is proven by the demand for it from sheep and goat owners across North America. (We were the first to introduce it to the U.S. and continue to supply most of the netting used in this country.) New users are often surprised at how quickly livestock and wildlife learn to respect the fence. When properly electrified, netting is highly effective. With careful use, a roll will last 8–10 years.

This is just for those who think larger goats will respect this fence. My nubian nanny jumps clean over it and will not be contained. Smaller goats like nigerian dwarfs and boers I'm sure would be fine in this fence once they are trained to it.

I would not recommend this fence to large goat owners. Otherwise, I believe it would be an awesome setup!

Works great for chickens I can rotate my pasture area around and still keep it electrified

I love this net! I use them for sheep, and it's perfect for setting up an area for grazing wherever you need to put them. Easy peasy pasture rotation! My favorite is when I set up a new pasture adjoining the first, just move one post to open it, and they all run happily onto the new grass! I prefer the single spike, as the double is harder to put in straight where the ground is hard, and doesn't stand up as well (in my experience). The net holds up well for years if you take care of it, and Premier 1 has the best prices!

I had purchased a net fence from Kencove, which was a terrible experience. The fence stands broke and the step in feet bent and twisted, even when taking appropriate care. It might have worked fine if I lived farther north, with more topsoil. This fence is much better made and the single stake foot actually works better for me. It was more expensive, but worth it.

Absolutely love it! I bought this fencing because I couldn't afford the permanent fencing I wanted. I'm actually thinking of keeping this type of fencing instead of following through with all of my original plans. It's very easy to manage for set-up and take down. It literally installs in less than 15 minutes. And I have very rocky soil. I did find that a hammer was a lot easier to use than my foot for pushing in the metal pins (I got the double spikes.)
