ElectroNet® 9/35/12 Electric Netting
Product Details

A prefabricated fence that has 9 horizontal strands (8 conductive), is 35" tall installed and has large white plastic vertical struts every 12". White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5 ft.
The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs. Also used to protect beehives from livestock and bears.
Contrasting white/black color provides 24/7 visibility to both humans and animals against all backgrounds. Its very low electrical resistance (38 ohms per 1000') is important for fences that are either long or will experience high weed contact.

We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all ElectroNet options.Instructions/Diagrams:
Benefits
No extra gates needed. Just turn off the energizer and pull the first post to create an opening. For added convenience, an ElectroNet® Gate can be used to provide easy access without the need to turn the energizer off.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.
Common Uses
- Contain sheep, goats and cattle and keep out predators such as coyotes, dogs and bears.
- Enclose rams and buck goats.
- Make small pastures for animals that need special attention (ewes/does/nannies with triplets; injured or stressed animals).
- Effective for beehive protection to keep out livestock and bears.
- Strip grazing pastures, orchards, vineyards and stockpiled forages.
- As an interim fence until a more permanent fence can be built.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Quick Ground is a special use netting developed by Premier. Metal filaments in the bottom horizontal strand serve as the ground rod to complete the electrical circuit. It’s designed for those that move netting very frequently. There is a risk with this design; if vegetation touches both the bottom strand and the first positive strand (only 3" away) an electrical short is likely. We recommend using a larger (in output) energizer.
Installation
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories tab) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.
See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

We have used eletronet for years for our sheep. No sheep now, but it is an effective barrier for keeping our dogs in. We trained them with the power on when they were puppies. It only took 3 days. We turned off the power and the dogs have respected the fence ever since. We take one fence along when we go rving and set it around our camp site. I don't need to stake the dog or keep them on a leash. Works beautifully.

I bought several rolls of this fence a year ago and it works wonderful. For rotational grazing or temporary pastures for a few weeks at a time this fence is ideal. My wife who is small can put it up and take it down as well.
For storage just roll it up and hang it from some twine in the rafters to keep the mice out of it in the winter.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU VALUE YOUR ANIMALS!! Livestock easily get entangled and electrocuted in this fence and die. Go with safer electric fencing such as high tensile steel wire. Electro Net KILLS livestock!
Anthony S from NW Oregon
The product was exactly what it says it is, it goes up easy and works very well.

I raise standard-sized dairy goats, and once I have them trained to polyrope, this stuff makes my life so much easier! I can make a milking parlor aisleway, cut my pastures up to rotate the goats through more efficiently, quicker than traditional electric, and unlike normal fencing you don't need two people or special equipment. For small people, that's music to the ears. Maybe one part of the pasture grows faster and needs more frequent grazing than the other end. In about 10 minutes you can customize that pasture for the season. (note to people with goats - you NEED to train your goats to polyrope strung inside a "real" fence BEFORE you rely on electric fence for containment - or they WILL learn how to get out - I have to explain that to a lot of folks! Once they are trained, I can keep my goats inside nothing more than 3 strands of polyrope. Also, new kids seem to be unable to comprehend electric fence until about one month of age)
