Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric netting. We do not recommend the use of electric netting during harsh winter conditions—ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed.

Okay, so I am the only customer telling people this new gate is great but I don't care. Having never been exposed to the old gate, I don't know any different but the new gate makes life so much easier on me. We are using some PoultryNet Plus as day pens for ducks and if you don't have a gate you have to tie the fence ends each time you want to pass through. These gates are so much easier and less time consuming than tying. Maybe they are shorter than the old gates but they are still great and you shouldn't be afraid of purchasing one or more... I just ordered another for myself!

We agree with everybody else that the old style gates without the docking station are great! We have 3, and wish we had 2 or 3 more, because they are perfect for closing gaps when you're setting up paddocks that are not exactly the right size for the length of ElectroNet you have on hand. We also have several gate openings in our permanent subdivision fences that we use them for, and sometimes have to decommission one from there to use it in a paddock set-up, which is usually a hassle. PLEASE offer these again!

Easy, easy. I’m a single, 66 year old RN who homesteads. Easy matters to me! Thanks!

I haven't used this yet, but I am sure this is exactly what I need for one particular place I walk through a lot. However, I have 6 of the old style Electonet gates, without the dock, handle etc. Those are absolutely perfect. I couldn't live without them. They extend a fence if you are 21ft short after laying out an entire temporary pasture. They close my permanent wire pasture gateways. They are so versatile. I therefore also concur with Conner N. from North Carolina. How about Premier offer both style gates? One with the docking station, and one without. Then you will have double the happy customers?

In the same boat as Connor N from North Carolina. The changes to the design make them less functional and flexible for a number of different uses (such as covering spring and tube gates on our permanent fences when sheep are in that paddock), and I don't want to pay more money for design features I don't use and don't want. Seems like the dock and handle could be an add-on option for those wanting that function.
