ElectroStop® 10/42/12 Electric Netting
Product Details
ElectroStop is 7" taller than ElectroNet®. Has one extra conductive twine. A prefabricated fence that has 10 horizontal twines (9 conductive); is 42" tall installed, and has large white plastic vertical struts every 12".
White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5'. The result, when energized properly, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.
The black and white colors provide 24/7 visibility to both humans and animals against light and dark backgrounds. It's low electrical resistance (only 38 Ω/1000 ft) is an important benefit for longer fences and/or fences with high weed contact.

Common Uses
For small breeds such as Pygmy or Nigerian Dwarf goats use PoultryNet style netting. The tighter spacings are a better deterrent to these species than the wider spaced ElectroStop.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.

* Pos/Neg (PN) fences are recommended where the soil is very dry and/or the animals do not ground well. Two clips are used at each end. One is hooked to the energizer, the second should be connected to a ground rod.
Quick Ground is a special use netting developed by Premier. Metal filaments in the bottom horizontal strand serve as the ground rod to complete the electrical circuit. It’s designed for those that move netting very frequently. There is a risk with this design; if vegetation touches both the bottom strand and the first positive strand (only 3" away) an electrical short is likely. We recommend using a larger (in output) energizer.
Installation
Tip: When using Pos/Neg fencing, a PowerLink (see Accessories above) is recommended to attach the negative lead to the ground rod.

Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I'm using this fence to pasture my Nigerian Dwarf goats and it's easy to set up even for a novice like me. Getting familiar with the net and the solar battery took some time for me but with the assistance of the excellent customer support center, I am now easily using this daily to allow my goats rotating pasture.

This is an updated to the review I posted on 05/16/2014. I still believe that the fence is an excellent product that does what it is designed to do. I am lowering my rating due to the fact that sheep can get caught up in the netting. This is no fault of the product, but before you purchase this fence, understand that it is possible, perhaps even likely, for sheep who are trained to the netting to become very tangled in it (even if it's installed properly) resulting in injury or death to the animal. Based on my experience tonight, I am going to change the way that I fence in my pasture.

Got the 164' version, and think I might send it back. My ram simply walks through it, and then Monday I had a ewe get hung up in it and hang herself. (Yes, I have tested it with a voltmeter.) I decided after the ewe got hung up to just not use it unless I was right there watching them. It is easy to set up, but is not working for me. Was really hoping this worked, but guess I'll just have to go back to wire fencing.

I have the 164 foot version of this fence and I love it, except that it is a little heavy for me to move and sometimes I only need a short net to cut a pasture in half. This 82 foot size is perfect to pick up and move easily and quickly with just one person.

I got a couple rolls of ElectroStop with the double spike for rotational grazing for sheep, alpacas and llamas. I went with the double spike, since it's quite often very windy here. Despite windy days and a number of thunderstorms, it's stayed standing without a problem.
