HD T Post Offset Insulator
For attaching and insulating low-tension or high-tension conductors to an in-line steel T post.
Stronger than any other plastic offset on the market. Extra-long wrap-around design firmly secures it to the post. Provides a vital extra margin of equine safety as well as more separation from weeds.

How to Use
- Pre-stretch the non-pin end of insulator.
- Hook short side of insulator onto T post.
- Center insulator over a stud on post.
- Pull or push long side of insulator around front of T post and snap into place on opposite side. (Use pliers if necessary.)
- Remove pin, insert twine and rope, IntelliBraid, MaxiShock or IntelliTape and replace pin.

I'm thrilled with these insulators.
Just installed a few of these to keep cattle off an older fence line. These are extremely heavy duty. They are longer and the "plastic" is MUCH thicker than any other insulators I've found.
I installed them using a large flat head screw driver to get the clip over the edge of the T-post. That's the method I've used with other T-post insulators and once you get the hang of it they are easy to install.
I hate repairing fence. If these insulators last as long as they look like they will I probably won't have to do much to this part of the fence for years.
I think they are priced right. I would rather pay a bit more for these high quality insulators than have to keep replacing less expensive ones.
Time will tell if they hold up but I'm buying more. Sometimes you find a product that just works!

When trying to quickly get hotwire added to miles of old fence I sometimes use a rod post when the fence is such a mess that I need to get farther out from the old wire to avoid shorts. The extra length of these stout insulators means that I can sometimes use one of them instead.

I purchased these to retrofit an electric hot wire to an existing range fence consisting of sheep wire, tee posts, and cedar stays. Needed to keep the horses from rubbing and wallowing against the fence and tearing it up. I needed insulators that provided more extension than the others I had looked at, and found these on the primier 1 website. These tee post insulators are expensive but heavy duty and worked just like I expected and needed them to. They were not difficult to install using a pair of channellock water pump pliers to finally snap the heavy plastic clip into place on the tee posts. With a little practice they went on like a champ. That I could find, nobody else has extension insulators like these with 10 inch extension.
