I saved two lives with this device once - A doe who was not dilating properly and her very-stuck doe kid. The smooth surface was easy to sanitize and insert. A little finagling around the kid's head and hooves had her coming out correctly in no time. I would choose this over an improvised solution any day.

Came apart first time I tried to use it. Back to baling twine, cheaper, better, easier to handle.
