Great design, extremely easy to put up and keeps eggs from being pecked by chickens. Easy to clean. Love this product! My chickens used it right away as I blocked their access to the old nest box. One hen has started sleeping in it even though we have roosting areas. I put bedding in it at first and am slowly removing it and now have Premier 1 plastic grass underneath.

Bigger than I anticipated. The reverse rollout egg collection orientation makes the opening very large so you need to decide what size opening to cut out of the coop. The plastic seems pretty sturdy, but I can’t comment on the durability yet. I would not leave it exposed to the sun though. The chickens started using them straight away, so that was great. They are functioning well so far. We have had a few days of windy rain and the water gets inside a bit, but I was planning to cover them from the sun anyway. One of the most affordable reverse rollout nest boxes I could find.

Was everything I was looking for, installed with out a hitch. Now if a chicken would go in it life would be perfect. Actually it would be perfect if they laid an egg…?

My chickens won't lay eggs in them even after I put straw in there. I'm not giving up yet, I might put enough straw or wood chips in that they can't feel the slippery bottom, that might help but obviously the roll away option is not going to work that way. Or if I can find some fake grass to put in the bottom maybe that would work, I don't know. I thought I would save myself the time of building nest boxes, but if I waste too much time getting them to lay in these things I'd have been better off saving my money and building some myself.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. I ordered 3 of these at the end of January. First one cracked and broke within a week. The other 2 followed shortly. Had them installed for a little over a month and all 3 are cracked and cant hold the trays any more. I would definately not recommend this product.
