- Outside collection—mounts to outside of coop. Roll-out tray directs eggs outside for simple walk-by collection. No need to go into the coop.

First off I did make changes based on reviews. I placed fake grass to help attract my chickens to it and it worked. I also glued fake grass strips over the top and sides to make it darker and more comfy for them. My chickens are free-ranged and even with all the space and lots of hidden areas they can put their eggs, they transitioned well. The bin itself looks okay and the door looks like it will break any minute, but compared to other pricey nest boxes I’m happy with the purchase.

I absolutely love this product. Was exactly what I needed, I got the outside ones so it keeps all my floor space in the coop and was able to double my nesting boxes. I haven’t gotten to use the rollout function yet cause my chicken throw pine shaving in them and clogs up the roll out portion but it does have the door thankfully on the back to open and get them out the main body of the nesting boxes, which is fine cause it’s all accessible from the outside of the coop.
I do suggest getting the grass turf pads as an add on cause your chickens will not like how slippery they are with nothing in them.
Also which is an easy fix but being that they’re red they attract a lot of light that the chickens don’t like so I had to paint them black before they would use them. Again though it’s an easy fix and I still highly recommend the product.
