Product Details

A portable electric fence designed to keep “free range” pastured pigs in. The bottom strand is suspended 6" above the ground to prevent pigs from rooting soil onto the fence.

Put your pigs to work by using their rooting and foraging instincts to your benefit. Selectively till gardens, pastures, woodlots or just about anywhere else on the farmstead. Once a section is tilled, it’s easy to take down the fence and move the pigs to their next job site.

New to electric fence? Premier’s Starter Kits may be a good choice. They include netting, extra support posts, a solar fence energizer, ground stake and a digital tester.

We offer many fences to fit your situation, including multiple lengths with different post spacings, drivable line posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all Pig QuikFence options.

A nice feature of this net is the lowest strand is high enough off the ground to avoid most contact from weeds and sticks. And pigs have a hard time burying the strand when they are rooting near it. Pigs can quickly till the soil, so expect to move the fence and pigs often.

This product is awesome! It keeps my pigs in and it’s really easy to move, even in the forest. The only reason I won’t be ordering another one is because Fedex charged me 76$ after purchase for importing it to Canada. Even after paying 50$ American dollars for shipping. The Gallagher’s fencing is not has good but cheaper for me to purchase in Canada. With shipping and duty cost, I can almost get 2 Gallagher fences. I really hope that you will start selling in Canada soon!!! Love your products!

This fence is great for our KuneKune pasture pigs. We just move them around the pasture every few days and they have fresh grass while the previous placements can regrow. We have a solar fence charger that just moves with the fence. Even our three farmhands (all under 7 yrs old) can help with the moving of the pigs.

We love our new fence. It went from in the box to set up and ready for pigs in under an hour. Could have been faster but we had to argue a bit about where we wanted the corners to be. We had really small piggies (two weeks old) and had to watch them to start with because they could jump through it but it didn't take long for them to figure it out and who doesn't like watching baby piggies play. Very happy with our purchase. I've recommended it to everyone I've talked to about farming. Hoping to get additional fences in the future for chickens and goats.

I will buy another mile or two of this pig fencing. Used a few hundred feet for several years. Reliable, dependable, beautiful. The cows, sheep, goats, and pigs respect it. I've only slaughtered 2 goats who did not respect it. Nice, you can swing yer leg over it and cross over, even with a kilt! It is buying me time to build grazing rotations, Allan Savory style, holistic management. I can create permanent fencing as I utilize temporary in my 350 year farm plan. Thank you Premier!
