Worked just fine. The knife was a little dull, so I recommend you sharpen a little before first using it.

Excellent knife for every cut from live bird to individually packed cuts of meat. The edge remains sharp and provides fast and clean cuts. It's not a cleaver, so don't try and cut bone with it. The edge sharpens quickly with a few pulls on a sharpener. If you can't dress a bird with this knife, the problem isn't the knife.
