Product Details

A prefabricated, 48" tall electric fence to keep in chickens, ducks, geese and other poultry while keeping their ground-based predators out. Recommended for active birds that like to fly (e.g. Leghorns and Buttercups).

Key features:

  • PORTABLE — Arrives to your door as a complete roll with the line posts already built in. One roll (164 ft) weighs only 23 lbs.
  • QUICK TO INSTALL — Even for new users, it takes less than 15 minutes to go from out-of-the-box netting to installed fence. No tools needed!
  • CONTAIN & CONTROL — Designed for active, flighty breeds. The taller 48" net is more likely to discourage large predators such as coyotes and dogs.

Important! You will need a fence energizer (sold separately) to electrify the net.

We offer many fences to fit your situation, including complete kits, different heights and lengths, multiple colors, drivable posts and positive/negative options for dry soils. Visit this link to compare all PoultryNet options.

With its many horizontal and vertical lines, the 48" PoultryNet is more cumbersome to move than its 42" tall sibling, but it’s better suited for flightier chickens. Some users find that it sags too much between posts, so we also offer PoultryNet Plus, which includes additional posts. On uneven terrain, add SagStoppers to prevent the lower strands from touching the ground, helping to maintain adequate voltage.

It's pretty easy to set up when you figure out how to brace it the bottom wire is hard to keep off the ground but aside from that it's pretty good

I'm hoping as my chickens grow (they are 9 weeks) they won't fit thru fence. Pretty much useless for me right now, they just go thru netting holes. I've got six non batams.

We have a number of polynet fences. This is the first time we've used the double spike posts. They are well worth the money. I will not buy single spike posts again.

We recommend using single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft but may bend when forced into very hard ground. — Premier

A great fence product! This is our second electric net fence purchase from Premier, but our third ENF purchase in 8 years. Our first was from the OTHER company and it was vastly inferior to Premier because of the way the posts in the other companies fence were Incorporated and the netting was cheaper quality. We have since sold that one and will be ordering more soon, to complete our rotational grazing plans! Thanks guys!
