Great 3 season waterer! I say 3 season because in the winter months you will need something else this waterer freezes up to easy in freezing weather even it you put a submersible heater inside it to keep it from turning into a block of ice. I still have trouble with the trough section freezing up and having to break ice out of it.

Easy to put together. Very sturdy.

I ordered this larger waterer because I was tired of filling up my smaller waterer twice a day for my growing chickens. It is perfect for my flock. It arrived with easy instructions and I had it set up quickly. It works exactly as described. Now my flock of 13 have fresh water without an extra trip from me.

This is a great waterer for our chickens.

I despise this waterer. It is stupid difficult to put together and there are several small parts that are easily lost. If the lid ever comes off and heaven forbid a piece of debris falls in, it'll immediately stop working.
Unless it's on a *perfectly* level spot, it leaks until it's empty in minutes and you are left with mud and thirsty birds. Algea grows in it like you're getting paid to grow it. Cleaning it is a half hour chore and if you miss one little bit of dirt, guess what, it leaks.
I hate it so very much. Maybe it'll give it to my kid for target practice.
