I ordered the red shank hand shears to trim my mules manes. My order showed up in under 7 days! Shears are perfect for my needs and I will certainly be using Premier 1 for my future needs. Tip: Coat shears with a small amount of oil when not using and they don’t rust! :)

Shears work great! I was able to shear all 10 of my ewes before needing to sharpen the shears again. However, be aware that the shears corrode quite easily. I stored mine away for about 4 months, in my enclosed tack room, to return to a highly rust covered pair of shears.

Works great as expected, but will buy electric shears for the spring shearing. Took way too long. Ok if you don’t want to pay for electric shears.

Used to trim dog — does not work on matted hair — ok on regular hair.

We use these to trim our llamas every spring — they work very well, even on really dirty hair.
