Rubber Pans
Low-profile rubber pans for feeding and watering livestock and general use around the farm.
We've used these as poultry feeders and waterers, show pen feeders, hog feeders, mineral feeders, and more. Made of heavy duty rubber, these pans stand up to years of abuse.
Prior to heated poultry waterers, this was a simple way to offer water to poultry in freezing weather. Simply turn over and knock the ice out with a hammer, then refill.

Be aware that they will smell STRONGLY of rubber for about 2 weeks. Best to first let sit in sun if possible, soak in tub with vinegar and baking soda. I could not use right away. Also they get VERY hot in the sun so if you're feeding or watering in the sun I don't think it's a great idea. I bought as feeding bowl for cat colonies here, but they are fed just before sundown, so not an issue. I don't think I would want to put water in them. They're quite flexible. I will also have to cut down a few of them for smaller cats, but I don't think that will be difficult. For my purpose, I think there are better solutions than this pan.
