I was so puzzled when my ElectroShock energizer started weakening and then failed. This unit is only on it's 3rd year, surely they last longer than that. Well they do unless your negative wiring harness is not tightly attached to the lead. I guess in all the moves it came loose and I never noticed. The loose harness caused the terminal to corrode. Ordering the new battery actually cost less than it would have cost to go to the next nearest big town to pick it up. It came in 1/2 the time I was expecting. Now it's installed correctly and I know to check the leads every few moves and make sure they are tight.

I ordered the 44 amp/hr battery and when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was an Interstate battery. That is my battery of choice and I can’t wait to order another one.

Solved. All I needed was a new battery. Replace every 3 yrs. Works great, easy to install.
