Sheep QuikFence® 6/35/24
A prefabricated fence that has 6 conductive, horizontal strands, is 35" tall installed and has a vertical string every 24". White PVC posts are built into the mesh every 12.5".
The result, when properly energized, is a nearly impenetrable mesh to sheep, goats, coyotes and dogs.
Its very low electrical resistance (37 ohms per 1000') is important for fences that are either long or will experience high weed contact.
Lowest strand is energized and suspended 7" above the ground (instead of neutral and resting on the soil). This reduces the need to spray weeds—and weeds that do contact it are less able to drain away electricity (because it is further to the soil).
Common Uses
- To graze orchards and vineyards.
- To subdivide pastures for a whole season in lieu of moving netting.
- To protect outdoor hay supplies.
- To graze stockpiled forage on hayfields/pastures in late fall and early winter.
- As an interim permanent fence until a proper fence can be built.
For fences that will be moved often, consider ElectroNet® or ElectroStop® instead.
Available with positive/negative (Pos/Neg) capability for high resistance fencing conditions.

See PDFs and videos above for additional installation instructions.
Precautions
Warning! Due to risk of fire, do NOT use continuous output energizers with electric netting or electro-plastic conductors such as rope, twine or tape. Use only with a low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizer. (Fi-Shock™ brand energizers which are sold as low impedance, continuous current output should NOT be used with electric netting.) All energizers sold on Premier’s website use an intermittent pulse and are suitable for use with electric netting.
Dry conditions and wintertime usage may reduce the effectiveness of electric fencing. Ice and heavy snow can flatten netting and thereby damage it.
Dry or frozen ground may cause post spikes to bend or break if inserted with force. Pilot holes may be needed. We recommend using drivable or single spike posts in hard soils. Double spike posts provide more stability when the ground is soft.

I have one roll of this fence and five or six rolls of the ElectroNet fence. Compared to the ElectroNet fence, this fence tangles very easily. The bottom clips that hold the wire in place slide easily, so the fence ends up scooting up on the post.
I have Shetland sheep which are very small so the lambs can squeeze under it fairly easily if it slide up even a little. Of course if it is under tension on a corner, it sometimes will slide up enough that the adult sheep can go under it. I find this useful for areas where I need a slightly shorter fence than the 164' Electronet and I am able to keep an eye on it to ensure that the fence is not sliding, but I will never buy more of it.

Love this fence! It is a well made fence that is easy to put up. I like how it sits off of the ground a few inches and doesn't sag in-between each stake.

I use this fence in our yard for our sheep; our yard is flat and open so it's not difficult to use. So far it has kept the sheep in and the dogs out. It is high enough from the ground so that I don't have to mow a fence line. It does get tangled up a lot more easily than the ElectroStop fence I use for our field, but it is still light and easy to use as long as I take care to not get it tangled. The posts hold up the fence nice and tightly without much sagging. As long as you don't mind the extra care to not get it tangled, it is worth getting.

It works for what I need. Quick set up to allow controlled grazing areas. I will be ordering another fence. Thank You!

We have older single spike fences for sheep (9/35/12 SS). They need some support on the corners (additional pull out stakes) and are exceptional fences. Was looking for a garden savior (deer issue) and ordered same fence with double spike.. Double spike does not require any additional support on corners and very easy to install. Someone (?) couldn't measure correctly (164') so ordered 100' double spike with 7" clearance at bottom. AWESOME. sturdier posts and easy to keep grass clear. THIS WILL BE OUR GO TO...even for the sheep (we currently have almost 500' [9/35/12] of this brand fence and highly recommend it!)
